While the seas and oceans are incredibly rich in biodiversity, over fishing poses a serious threat to marine ecosystems and the livelihood of coastal communities.

With the support of Slow Fish International, Biodiversity Preservation has met with several artisanal fishermen at Baie du Tombeau to investigate on our local constraints and how to change the mechanisms of a globalized food system based on intensive exploitation of resources.
